No need to enable any WebXR features in the browser. It will ask you to install AR Core for the first time.

you could possibly use a low-level way to embed Verge3D content, for example:
<iframe src="https://mydomain/myapp/myapp.html?myparam=myvalue" width=600 height=400 frameborder=0 allow="fullscreen" />
and then get the parameter value with this puzzle.
