Hey Polypix
interesting learning
Can you share the end result achieved by using this setup?visualizerCustomerHere is a set of puzzles about the location (position) of that cartoon boy.
however I think it carries a same model scale as blenderAttachments:
You must be logged in to view attached files.visualizerCustomerI already had a suggested in the past that
one thing there can be a thumbnail based sorting & arrangements in the list
Secondly three can be a category & directory / subdirectory wise facility to minimize the huge list of project lists, trial scenes their versions etc.
It is an essential thingvisualizerCustomerI see, the total number of meshes in the scene eh? So if I hid the meshes, it reduces render call right?
No hiding mesh should not be the solution he means to connect them as much as possible in minimum count with as much as possible in low poly style.
I believe vertex count definitely matters a lot. When we initially imported the CAD mesh it was about 1 GB or even more. at several places we reduced by using opacity maps which drastically increased the loading speed. we stopped our work when whole thing reached under 25 mb. because the purpose was achieved.
Still loading is a slight concern I will look at it for further optimizing as discussed aboveexample – see the platform mesh in boiler at rear corner. instead of 3d object wires we used opacity map. huge saving on vertex count.

AS said rightly the scooter example has a windshield material which is pretty well set as a glass. you can try it.
Also I guess Verge has their own set of professionally created materials pack in which there could be more such unique materials if needed.
visualizerCustomerHello
in connection with this thread I just posted a fresh topic @
https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/vr-application-having-transparent-bg/visualizerCustomerTrue!
Search facility through puzzles would be a great addition. Also is there any chance of including the facility to check which category the current puzzle is from? Instead of just colors.
May be a tiny marker clicking on which will tell user where this puzzle is located in the huge list of categories.visualizerCustomerI guess Verge 3D team shall provide couple of more AR samples and couple of standard tutorials for setting up AR scene.
There is only one example of a farmer boy so far I have seen.visualizerCustomerYes agreed !
Will surely look into it
visualizerCustomerThank you !

I agree instead of loads of geometries we can simplify still. However actually, we spent lot of time in optimizing & arranging the 3D CAD data while bringing it from few 100 MBs (I guess that was 600 to 800 mbs initially) to just 22 MBs including textures. HaHaEspecially when deadline is there then sometimes we have to just leave it at some point. Later once the job is over nobody has a time to look at it again lol.
But as you said. If I get some free time will surely try to optimize it further.

visualizerCustomervisualizerCustomerHere it is

This is what exactly I am talking about. This is a Samsung tab and no chance of iOS.
Hey Yuri,
This is what is expected from Verge as feature. Would add lots of value to its production capabilities used in serious business & presentation purposes.Just to add –
As seen in video QR code is not the only sensing for popping up the digital asset through lens.
I have seen any design or a specific graphic used for this.
I thought if there is any specific sign or a graphic can be used to pop up that farmer cartoon boy it would be addition to the existing feature.- This reply was modified 6 months, 2 weeks ago by visualizer.
visualizerCustomerBut you’re showing the example for iOS ))) Which will work only in iOS. Did you see any example working the same way in Android?
I just gave a reference irrespective of Os. When you said I came to know it is iOS.
What feature? You want Verge3D to generate a QR code? You can’t do it with the help of numerous online generators?
No not QR generator lol. All the things happening in that video as shown
100% there is such QR code recognition for popping up product 3d on android. I will check for relevant example and post here.
visualizerCustomerHey
Nice beginning with verge 3D tool.
