CustomerHey David !
Just out of curiosity, where this type of functionality is used? OR required?
Thx

CustomerHey guys
Thanks for the issue to revisit again to check if this is possible in verge or not.
Got clarity that its not possible as of now and less chances in near future. However I am wondering if Blender drivers is somehow possible to include easily in verge? Any chances?

CustomerWhat you want to do with it? & what you are exactly trying to say?
I checked, it flattens the cone and then nothing happens.
No 3d view handling or anything.visualizer
CustomerYes. it is a good hint.
However I found in some of previous files it is working and some not.
I am trying to figure out why? Also is there any such facility in Verge to transfer the old scenes to new version from within the Verge application itself?

CustomerWow !
Its almost exactly one year that, my small suggestion / feature request finally got implemented in Verge. Feels Good !
Now there is no need of jugaad setting of puzzles to achieve this I hope. Glad !Here is my old thread of 22 Sept 2023 about 3D positional sound –
https://www.soft8soft.com/topic/possibility-of-positional-sound-in-verge/I also feel strongly that here after if V3D gets more sophisticated and filled up with AR/VR/MR/XR related rich features.

CustomerI good visuals and a product showcasing!

CustomerYes Me too noticed that hollow ( normal issue perhaps ) feel.
I guess its a WIP thingvisualizer
CustomerYes.
I checked it. Its very much a versatile & lots of combinations.
However every time it takes a time to load… that’s a slight disturbing. ( here progressive loading or LoD comes prominently in thought )
may be its a WIP and it might be fixed eventually.
But overall example is good.visualizer
Customerinteresting!
but where is a link ?2024-09-17 at 5:14 pm in reply to: how to manage the challenge of a large scene size v3d file #77450visualizer
CustomerGuys!
I am glad somebody here in forum talking about LoD. Long long ago I had requested the feature in V3d which would really make V3D production efficient tool. Still it is not there but I hope sooner or later they wil have to consider the LoD aspect.
Before few months I had to work on a stack with lots of internal industrial assemblies and client didnt want any of them to compromise. That time LoD could have been a boon but I did a trick I gave a time delay to appear the sub assemblies as user sees the basic scene loaded. It worked pretty well. However the trick is trick. Not a solution.
As V3D grows it has to comply itself by including the industry grade of features.
As meta also is opening many ways such as Meta’s building blocks & MRUK &/or similar.
I am perhaps having too many hopes from V3DLOL.

CustomerI think complex materials & textures do contribute to loading time.
