Yes, you can definitely do that. The main thing you need to do is make sure you export to USDZ after the configuration is done instead of when your app first launches of course.
vernCustomerYup. When you use the export to USDZ puzzle you can export individual models, groups of models, or even the entire scene into the one USDZ file. There’s a ton of flexibility.
vernCustomerSo you just want to be able to send the fully configured model into AR so they can view it, is what you’re asking right? If so this is definitely possible.

2022-05-14 at 5:27 pm in reply to: Unable to manipulate object added with “append scene” puzzle. #52051vernCustomerI had the same issue pretty much. Check out this post:
Did you upgrade to Verge3D 4.0 pre4? They said they were going to fix it but I didn’t try it yet.
vernCustomerWhat version of Verge3D are you using?
If you’re using Verge3D 4.0 pre1 build or newer, you can use unlimited morph targets.
Read this update to see where it mentions that:
vernCustomerYou’re welcome. Ok, awesome! :)
2022-04-21 at 2:52 pm in reply to: Global lighting (3DS Max) doesn’t work at all in 4.0 pre1 build #51248vernCustomerDo you have any update on this issue?
I’m hoping to get it fixed before launching my app.
vernCustomerYup it’s possible for sure. Check out the puzzles for the AR demo in your app manager. The group of puzzles that show exporting the .usdz file just need to be put in a button click event so that the live model is exported then instead of when your app launches.
vernCustomerIt does the exact same problem even when used with objects.
Please try it with the Load Unload demo and then try to press blue ‘Replace Scene’ button. It freezes the camera and stops working.See what I mean?
vernCustomerThe quickest way to replicate the issue is to open the Load Unload demo app and add a ‘when moved’ puzzle to the canvas (Puzzle editor), like usual.
When you launch the demo, tap the blue ‘Replace Scene’ button. You’ll see that it does not load the .glTF scene and locks the camera.2022-04-19 at 3:15 pm in reply to: Replace texture puzzle not working with Compressed textures #51159vernCustomerSounds awesome!! Thank you!!
2022-04-18 at 4:13 pm in reply to: Global lighting (3DS Max) doesn’t work at all in 4.0 pre1 build #51140vernCustomerSo I tested it using all 3 IBL Environment settings and it doesn’t change my lighting at all.
All I want is to use a color background and to use environment global lighting, just like I was in 3.9.If I do not add actual lights into my scene and only use environment lighting, the entire scene has an insanely bright (high intensity) light that I can’t adjust. You can see what I mean in the first attached image below.
If I add actual lights to my scene (instead of using environment lighting) than I can get the lighting better as you can see in the second attached image.
But I need to use environment lighting for performance reasons and I can’t use it at all because of the aforementioned issue. Can you please tell me how to get the normal environment global lighting back, just like it was in 3.9 please?
