Wow, thanks so much. I never would have gotten that. I assumed all objects were collected on start up. Thanks for putting up with me.
vergecuriousCustomerHere is a link to download the app.
https://3dimensionaltooling.com/password%20protected/3d/downloads.htmlvergecuriousCustomerThe entire app is 260 mb. That’s not going to zip down to 4 mb. Do you just want the puzzles?
vergecuriousCustomerThat would be great except TextObject2 does not appear in the drop down menu. Incidentally the exact same puzzles worked on TextObject1.
The whole puzzles interface is very glitchy. It’s almost like the program gets confused.
vergecuriousCustomerNot only does MyObject2 not show up, neither does MyObject1. I have no idea what to look for in the Console.

You must be logged in to view attached files.vergecuriousCustomerI agree, that is how it is supposed to work. It does not. No matter how many times I save the puzzle and reload, the second object does not appear. I’ve reloaded the application, rebooted the computer and nothing.
vergecuriousCustomerWell that did it. I had the mute at the bottom and had no idea you had to use a procedure. Thanks so much for your help. I never would have gotten that.
vergecuriousCustomerThanks for the bones. Yes I am aware of a video being blocked if it has audio. Muting the video was no problem. I use videos as backgrounds all the time. Unfortunately I can not find any puzzle that has a title “load video”. This is where the common sense CAD guy gets lost. I tried using a timer and that didn’t work either. Some of this puzzle stuff is so frustrating.
vergecuriousCustomerWell, I’m glad it works for you. Using a system contrary to the instructions provided by Verge 3d. They kindly gave me a refund so I don’t have to try to play a video recorded at 10x frame by frame. I literally had to go second by second and it still did not work. I’ll stick to my own library where it is append, apply and move on. I was just trying to get materials that were less memory intensive. Lesson learned.
vergecuriousCustomerThe issue wasn’t getting the material to load into blender. They appeared fine in blender. They simply would not export into a gltf file. Zip zero nada was the final result.
vergecuriousCustomerThank you for your prompt refund. It’s nice to deal with people with integrity.
vergecuriousCustomerI’m not sure what you are asking? Are you asking me to use Blender rather than bforartists? If so I’m not up for that at all. What UI are you using in bforartists? It looks nothing like the default UI.
vergecuriousCustomerI appreciate the efforts of the staff. But this was like walking into a swamp. Way more trouble than it’s worth. I built a library of materials within a Verge project that I append from all the time. Maybe that’s why it works and your library does not. I tried your material library because I thought it might be less resource intensive. But it’s not worth all the trouble. I use a Blender clone called bforartists which is simply Blender 3.3.1 with a different ui.
The procedure to append in bforartists is append, apply and if you don’t pack resources automatically, pack resources. In rare cases you have to go to the edit mode and “assign” the material. That’s it. Anything more is just making things more complicated.
Again thanks for your interest.
vergecuriousCustomerYou know honestly this just isn’t worth the hastle. If I can’t append the material, pack the resources and be off, it’s just another problem for me to deal with. I purchased this to make life easier, not harder. I think it’s best if I just get a refund and move on. Please advise how this can be accomplished.
Thank you.
PS I would have sent you a file but is was 5.6 mb zipped. You really can’t do much with 4mb these days.
vergecuriousCustomerI’ve reviewed the manual several times. Append, check for missing files and nothing. I can append any of my materials from other files. The materials won’t even apply to the basic Verge cube. I’m not a happy camper at this point:-(
