I’d like to thank you for all of your assistance. I’ve thing I’ve got a good base to work with. This is just a draft that I’m doing “spec”. If you get a chance, please take a look at the link in the previous email. I’d like any input you might have. The only real issue I still have is making the text an “area” not just letters that can be clicked on.
Again, thanks so much.
vergecuriousCustomerApparently the drag puzzle over rides blender. I deleted the drag puzzle and it worked fine. Now I just how to figure out how to return the scene to home and hide and show some objects during the movement.
vergecuriousCustomerVerge 4.4
vergecuriousCustomerI used -60 and 60 with no success.
vergecuriousCustomerWorking my way up I started with option 1. But the “drag rotate” puzzle does not give me a world option, only local and parent.
vergecuriousCustomerYeah, that’s what I thought. It doesn’t work.

I’m able to lock a camera vertically but not horizontally. Not sure what is going wrong. No matter the setting I have 360 degrees of rotation.
vergecuriousCustomerAll I want is to be able to rotate either the camera or scene to view about 120 degrees in each direction horizontally with a mouse drag.
vergecuriousCustomerIf you want to view the simulation, see below.

vergecuriousCustomerI already have a on click event for a 360 degree camera rotation around my primary object. I want the user to be able to rotate the entire scene by draging the mouse. Is rotating the camera better? I’m open to what is best.
vergecuriousCustomerTurns out you have to set your blender file camera in range or else the zoom jumps in and out. Who knew?
vergecuriousCustomerI might be dense, but everything I try does not work. In best case, the camera zooms and then snaps back to it’s original location. What is the puzzle that freezes the location of the camera?

Thanks for sending me in the right direction. Here you think you are doing the right thing using a file in blender. Again, thanks for your help. Been dealing with this forever.
