Hi,
I’m also having a similar problem. When I enable outlining, all of my objects become pixellated and non-viewable, especially the text.I thought it was something I had done wrong, and I’ve spent many hours trying to figure this out.
Here is before and after ‘enabling’ outline. Before, it looks nice and crisp (look at the Footwear letters), but when outline is enabled it looks very rough and hard to read. It’s not useable.
I’m kind of concerned, does this mean I cannot use Verge? The pixellation makes this unusable for publication or our website.
Perhaps I can have a hover effect that just changes the color of the object instead of outlining, or I can make an object (just behind) that lights up when hovered?
Thanks for any suggestions/help.

Thank you super-much. T.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC
visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerThank you very much. I kind of thought this was the case. I’ll try it out and post back.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerHere is a 17Mb zip file of the whole thing. I get the same behavior whether sneak peek or export. As you compress the browser window, the scene ‘centers’ right in the middle, instead of remaining pinned to top. This makes it un-viewable on an iphone or android, or tablet in portrait.
Please don’t give this away. I’ve based this on your industrial robot demo, stripping out most everything except what I want to display. I still have no idea how to achieve the nice looking overlay that you have in the demo. I guess that’s next to learn.
the pword is your first name plus 123! no caps. Thanks. This is quite urgent I hope there is an easy solution.: note archive removed from here. email me tcd at abemis dot com for any info/files.

I’m working from the Industrial robot demo. Couple more questions of course. Will detail early this week when I understand robot demo better.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerHi, thanks again for the response and info.
I’ve been working like crazy on this both to get myself up to speed-ish on PBR and to understand at least some of the Verge3D approach.
I’ve been able to get some pretty good PBR results today. I’ve cleaned up my current Blender scene and made several notes and such. I think instead of putting on this thread, I’m going to make a new post in the forum with this info and share my notes, new questions, and the .blend file. I’ll add some of my trials-and-errors as a novice, which will hopefully be helpful to others as well.
Thanks again! T.
p.s. I looked carefully at the industrial robot demo, pretty interesting/amazing! There is a lot I don’t understand there and couldn’t use any of the materials… It’s a very complex UV and not ‘individual’ materials for separate objects, which is an approach I’m not very familiar with (yet) as a novice. I don’t have Substance Painter which I’m guessing was used for that demo.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerHuh, ok.
I need a reasonably good brushed metal, fine concrete, and smooth metal or semi-gloss plastic material, and especially a transparent and/or translucent material just to start. I’m guessing there is some PBR material I can use but I can’t seem to get it working. I don’t have substance painter, working on getting that.
Any help or pointers appreciated. Thanks.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC
visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerHI,
I went ahead and purchased the pack, but I guess I’m a bit confused still, which is not anything new.
Are these materials not ‘useable’ with Cycles? I’ve done my whole scene in cycles render with other objects using PBR, which sort-of works. But when I import/append or cut-buffer paste any of these materials into my scene, all I get is solid color, no textures etc.Am I dramatically missing something simple here? All thanks.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerYes that makes sense, one voice. When I get myself better up to speed on materials, etc, I’ll post again more specific question(s). Thanks.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerSo does this mean, that the default axes for the cubemap, or thus for the verge3d camera, are different than my standard blender viewport?? In my scenes Z is always up and down (not Back and Forward) ??
Wouldn’t this be important? Thanks all for any info, I’m just getting started at v3D and web.

visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerHi,
did you release the materials pack? I haven’t found it anywhere but maybe I missed it or misunderstand. I very much need to improve my materials urgently. Thank you.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC
visit: abemis.comtcdoeCustomerI think these are on YouTube ?
If you tell me exactly which ones, or at least the first one of the series, I can get translation help. Please post a link to the video to confirm; I don’t want to accidentally somehow translate wrong one. We’ll skip translating the first one since you already started.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC
