This is so well done! Such clear and great looking NPR visualization and animation. It also shows how useful 3D web applications can be for instruction.
Thank you for sharing this,

I can advise every Blender user who wants to start using Verge3D to follow this tutorial. Also if you don’t do any architectural design. It’s a solid foundation to build upon!
Great work!
SimoneillussimoCustomerYou could animate the car in the 3D software you are using, (Is it Blender or 3Ds Max?) and then bind the animations in Puzzles to the keys or on-screen buttons.
I hope you find this info useful.
SimoneillussimoCustomerLots of things to explore in the new year!
Happy 2019 to all of you!
SimoneillussimoCustomerFun hippy car! We certainly need a loving, peaceful 2019!
SimoneillussimoCustomerHello Yuri,
I have now used Verge3D 2.9.2 with both Blender 2.79 and Blender 2.8 beta with great results. The improvements give amazing possibilities to make visually subtle, artistic and attractive 3D web-projects with also much more possibilities for interaction thanks to the many puzzles additions in this new version.
Everything works smoother and faster. A pleasure to work with!
Here a link to the new version of one of the projects I’m working on.

I still used Blender 2.79 for this version but next year I will also post a link to the Blender 2.8 version for comparison as well as links to other projects I’m working on.
Big thumbs up for the whole team!
SimoneillussimoCustomerHello,
I have exported my models with IK rigs from Blender 2.79 with Verge3D 2.9 and it works really well. In render settings don’t forget to check the Bake modifiers and the Bake armature actions.
SimoneillussimoCustomerI had the same problem with Blender 2.8 beta but with 2.79 it all works well.
Disabling the bake-armature-actions, unfortunately, doesn’t work with my file and not with the “industrial robot” file, which have more complex armatures. It did work with my simple test file.
I have attached a few screenshots in a zip file. I hope it helps to pinpoint the problem.
In Blender 2.79 it works great! This is only a problem in Blender 2.8 Beta.
SimoneillussimoCustomerGreat achievements! InSight has landed, Verge3D 2.9 is released (working well with Blender 2.79 and 2.8), and Blender 2.8 is in Beta!
Even the sky isn’t the limit…
SimoneillussimoCustomerThank you so much. This is much more pleasant to the eye! :)
SimoneillussimoCustomerGreat and very useful improvements again. Congratulations also for the super cool Scooter demo! I found it also very useful to improve my own projects.
I’m already trying out a lot of things with very good results and can’t wait for the final release…
SimoneillussimoCustomerYes, I know, but I’m testing 2.9.0 pre-release 3 and I thought you might be working on more procedural textures. Although I understand that that is not an easy thing to do.
I will send the test file with the Voronoi texture on Monday.
It may also be a problem of the Blender 2.8 built. (That is a bit of the problem in testing in a pre-beta release of Blender. Every day the built can be slightly different. But we will get there! Things are moving fast now!
First, try to have a relaxing Weekend! :)
SimoneillussimoCustomerSo in the next 2.9.0 release, the V3D shadow settings will be available in Blender 2.8 as well?
SimoneillussimoCustomerIt’s no problem to convert EXR to HDR in Gimp. The thing is, that Verge3D users should be made aware that the native Blender 2.8 background images like all other EXR images should be converted first to HDR before they can use them.
What about the light settings mentioned in the first part of this test report. Has the difference in lighting between Eevee (darker) and the V3D result (lighter) to do with Blenders 2.8 Filmic color management? Can Filmic be implemented in WebGL?
That would be great!
With my light settings in Blender and the post-process settings in Puzzles, I get pretty good results! It is an example of how things can be tweaked for now.
I hope the above little beta test examples give some useful information.
Good luck with making Verge3D super cool!
SimoneillussimoCustomerThanks for the link!
