CustomerWauw looks great and clear implementation.
Shows again what a welcome addition Verge3D is to the educational world.

CustomerCongratulations! Very nice and clear implementation. I only think it would be nice if one would also be able to stop the circuit board from turning. Circuit boards are a great candidate for Verge3D applications.

CustomerPoor foot!
This is a really good, (painfully clear video information, ouch!) and useful implementation. To even enhance this you could add some gloss to the fissures in the poor foot.

CustomerIn this version, I added more stage items and interactions but had forgotten to update the mobile touch functions. The mobile version is working now as well.
Enjoy!2019-06-12 at 11:24 am in reply to: Textual version of Soft8Soft's presentation on WebGL performance optimization #15537illussimo
CustomerThis is very helpful!
I am planning to turn my presentation content Porting 2D vector-based content to Verge3D into a tutorial video and put it on YouTube or Vimeo. I have to work on other projects now but as soon as it is ready I will post it with a link on the forum.

CustomerHello Alexander,
Both would be a great improvement. An option for a dark theme would be nice as well.
Personally, I keep my Blender files outside of the Verge3D folder but visually stacking the files will be useful if one wants to keep all the blender files within the Verge3D folder and has many gltf files in one project.
A search system (also in puzzles) would be very helpful. But we will have to stay organised as well with naming our assets in a practical way.
Thanks!illussimo
CustomerWow, that’s a quick response. I have another idea why the new forums are not used that extensively anymore. The term closed could maybe be replaced by moved. It would also be nice if all the older posts would be integrated into the new fora. It would help to get access to the information that already was shared. It’s just a suggestion. I suppose you have your hands full and I have no idea if the integration could be easily done.

CustomerI’m a Blender user so I have no idea how the data structure of 3Ds Max works but could 3Ds Max users, for instance, create bones just for weight painting and creating vertex groups, without using the bones? Then I suppose there would be vertex groups that could be accessed?

CustomerCould you make the links more clear for non-Russian and non-Chinese speakers and also put a link to the English forum on the Chinese and Russian forum? Like that, we can all stay connected.

CustomerSketchfab might be nice to sell 3D models and is maybe more geared to that.
I think Verge3D provides the greatest freedom for creation and implementation. It is incredibly versatile!illussimo
CustomerHello Yuri,
At the Verg3D meeting in The Netherlands, I had the opportunity to meet and talk with Lijun Ma. I knew him from the Chinese Verge3D forum so meeting him in person and seeing his presentation was wonderful. I told him that I followed the Russian as well as the Chinese forum using Google Chrome’s translation feature but that I can’t find the link to the newly created ones.
He told me he noticed a drop in posts since the newly created Chinese forum branch. Maybe it is because people can’t find the link here anymore.Could you please create a link to the new Russian and Chinese forum here and a link to the English forum there? It’s so good to share each other’s experiences.

CustomerThank you CPQ Factory and Verge3D for creating this wonderful international meeting!
Besides all being so well organized, you created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, that the place soon was filled with joy. It was so good to meet each other in real. Ideas were quickly exchanged with great recognition of each other’s experiences.
We were shown how creative work and knowledge is needed and already being implemented in large production driven, and commercial environments, and were shown stunning visual implementations in that context.
We learned how to optimize our objects for best results in Verge3D.
We had a chance to get a fantastic VR experience.
We saw how education and cultural heritage can benefit from Verge3D applications.
We learned how to implement parametric measuring using Blender 2.8 and Verge3D.
We could present our wish-list for further Verge3D development and ask questions in person to each member of the team.
Well, the list goes on…We learned a great deal from the presentations and each other and got tons of inspiration and encouragement.
Verge3D users come from all over the world which is great but not so easy to meet in person.
It was wonderful to be given this opportunity and experience and we look forward to the next international Verge3D meetup.

CustomerSo the transparency node is supported for grayscale but not for colour.
That was not so clear in the description:Color input is now supported for the Transparency BSDF node
I had a mix shader with diffuse colour and Transparent colour in Blender 2.79. I have set the transparent colour to white and strengthened the diffuse colour a bit so it works well now.
I tried the new Built of Blender 2.8 the transparency node works well. I think it’s nearly time to make the full switch. The 2.8 built of today is truly awesome, a lot of issues (with weight painting and so on) of last week have been fixed and the new interface changes are fantastic!
I understand that consitancey with the Eevee nodes are of most importance now.
Thanks for your quick reply,
