    Not here unfortunately, I tried also in a “private” Firefox window to rule out anything related to cache.
    Tried Edge as well, same result..

    Did you manage to fix the other issues I mentioned in my post regarding Pre2?

    Noticed you where offline for a few hours and was afraid you might have been cut of by political players of either side.

    Hi,

    just tested it with Blender 3.0.
    I did start with a copy of my 3.9 project.
    This project works fine under 3.9. Correct colors.
    Only thing where it does not work is on all Apple mobile devices with iOS 15.4. It does not finish loading there.
    On the PC it says framerate is around 50-60.
    It works on PC&Mac desktop and on Android (also older devices down to Android 9).

    Then I uninstalled 3.9 and installed 4.0P2.
    When I take a look at sneak preview under 4.0P2, some colors change and all colors show strangely translucent.
    When I rewrite the Verge3D file and open the app it stays completely black.

    See screenshots. Happens after the app was updated.

    Under Blender 3.2 I get an error when enabling Verge3D.That is probably to be expected as its not released yet..

    Reverted back to 3.9 for now.

    Btw, would it be even better to create a fake cloud reflection proceduraly with noise or similar, or use a procedural cloud sky?

    Any idea when we can expect Pre 2?

    Do you think both issues (Android & iOS) described come from this?
    Did you find out why 4.0 results in the black screen (see Beta thread)?
    If that’s fixed I could try again with this version, maybe that would help?

    The aspect ratio of 1:2 comes from the fact that it is the equirectangular image used as cloud reflection.
    12000×6000 is a normal size for an equirectangular image, no?
    I did already use a jpg instead of an hdr or exr which would be huge.
    This jpg. is 1.67Mb big (see attached), whats the alternative?

    I can not burn these reflections on the meshes as my clients need to change tons of color around. Alternative solution?

    I have two other textures which are small 320×198 and I will turn them to POT tommorow.

    I did reinstall 3.9 and everthing is good there, apart from 2 other issues regarding iPad & Android displays which I will post separately.

    Regarding the black screen, any news?

    So a simple comment like click on the video to start it would be enough to start the video and load the app behind it?
    How do I make the video disappear once the app has fully loaded?

    Hi Soft8Soft!

    Whenever I use texture compression w/ 4.0, my scene exports to only a black screen– do you have any idea why that would be happening?

    Filtering is off and compression is set to auto in the Node sidetab.

    Sidebar: Also, is there any way that a puzzle for deviceorientation could be added to the final version of 4.0? To enhance V3D experience for mobile users?

    I have the same problem with the black screen on an application initially created with Version 3.9.
    I did the following already:
    Copying the files basis_transcoder.js and basis_transcoder.wasm from the folder of a new application which I created with 4.0 into the folder of my existing 3.9 application.
    I did also rewrite the gltf file. Tried it with and without texture compression both times I got a black screen.
    Before it was working, now its all black.

    Writing 100% instead of cover fixed it. Here for anyone else who needs to see fix this:

    that works for fonts & solid colored interface objects, but how do I do this for objects mapped with an alpha channel?

    Right now I have the attached setup for the textures with alpha channel.

    The problem is that I am dealing with a clients logo and need to have it display in the correct colors, so I can not just add emission as it would brighten the colors.
