What extension your normal maps have? Not all supported try to convert all maps to png.

Better for this use Animate Param From puzzle instead of CSS animation.

Yes, we made some changes to them, not no need to set 0 to font-szie like it shown in Swiss Army Knife tutorial. Just remove this parameter and all will be ok.

Can you share the blend file or part of it with non working material.

To exclude plane from exporting, just put them in external collection and exclude it using this form in Verge3D settings.

All other tricks with light source will not work in the engine because all them made using cicles.
