Thank you so much, kdv! That really clears things up for me and explains why it wasn’t working.
peetCustomerHi,
I have a print console at the bottom of the puzzles, and while it shows changes in the console as expected, there’s no visible effect on the model. This is strange because I used identical settings (replace texture) for another component, where everything worked perfectly. See attached image.

I’m going to dig into the server side and figure out what I can do there.

It’s currently a non-commercial project, but if I can get it working well, I hope to sell it in the future. Please send me an email with your pricing.

Thank you in advance!2024-10-07 at 6:54 pm in reply to: Optimizing and Accelerating Composite Product Configurators for Better Performance #77841peetCustomerCan you help me with this? I really appreciate your assistance.
2024-10-07 at 6:43 pm in reply to: Optimizing and Accelerating Composite Product Configurators for Better Performance #77839peetCustomerWhy is it working like this? Is it because the puzzles are interconnected? I have no idea.

I’m unsure because I need everything a customer can select. Perhaps we could load items only when they’re actually selected, if it’s possible somehow. By the way, the textures are super optimized and use very minimal data.
peetCustomerI have made some tests with the unique variable sets that were working previously on other options but unfortunately, it doesn’t work on my new setups. The only difference is that I have much more variable sets. You can see the attached images I have unique names but if I turn on these sets ruin the other one, and destroy the other sets as well. It does not make sense to me what happening but looks like the variables are limited somehow, even though I use different names my values and keys are the same and that causes this problem maybe. What do you think?

peetCustomerThank you for the suggestions, it was very helpful!
I reorganized a bit the problematic part and add more unique names as well. Works like a charm.

I have re-exported the “gltf” file from Blender and created a new Verge3D application to build this test configurator from scratch. I’ve configured everything identically to the “drawer” demo, as shown in the screenshots. I’ve also uploaded this drawer demo to my test site, which works perfectly. However, my app doesn’t work and I’m unsure why.
I would greatly appreciate if someone from the development team could take a look at this. I need to update my client regarding the feasibility of continuing with this product.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,
PeterAttachments:

I conducted some tests again today, but I still can’t get the simple texture change to work with the composite plugin. I’ve cleared the cache and disabled other plugins, but it hasn’t helped. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. I was thrilled with this new feature and I really want to use it. I apologize for my impatience.
Thank you in advance!

PeterpeetCustomerHello Alexander!
That’s really good news, thank you! :) I tried out the new feature, but I encountered a problem on the first attempt. My logic is outlined in the attached image. Unfortunately, I didn’t see any interaction on the site. Do you have any idea?
**on the “texture” screenshot I have left the component puzzle on “component title” but I have tried with “attributes” as well, same.
Thank you in advance!
Best regards,

You must be logged in to view attached files.peetCustomerI have updated the limits and tried with 256MB as well, but the same issue. If I try to upload an old project it’s the same issue. Every time at the very end of the upload goes to error.
I can solve the uploads via FTP (for temporary it’s Ok) but the problem is that the project was exported with the new 4.0 version of verge3D and this one does not synchronize with the product anymore. If I use an old export with the previous version that’s working well. As I see there is a new thing exported to the application folder: basis_transcoder.js and basis_transcoder.wasm, could this be the problem? I haven’t set anything in the puzzle or blender, I have just upgraded the verge3d program and exported it for testing. -
