Try and see.
Haha, you just “RTFM” me, like in old good days !!
I will

2023-10-11 at 10:34 pm in reply to: How to update “screen space reflection / refraction” puzzle ? #67509NaxosCGCustomerAlso, will i be able to have an object that is seen in reflections, but then is hidden ?
The “screen space reflection / refraction” is a “one shot” system ?
Or maybe there is a way to setup a USD / Physical shader that is seen in reflections, but not by camera ? Like i’d do with vRay / Corona.

This is a game changer, specially for my mini soccer tables and billards. Thanks !

NaxosCGCustomerForget it, i’ve managed it, using the same puzzle parts used for rotation, but with “2” instead of “90”

NaxosCGCustomerThis, Yuri, was very usefull, thanks !!
What if i need to change the “grid” space : make it 2 x 2 instead of 1 x 1 ?
“round” option will always become integer, so “1×1” gridThanks for help.

NaxosCGCustomer“snap” to extremity of other objects?
this only can be with JavaScript for now, sorry. Verge3D is basically Three.js from the programmer’s point of view, so there are plenty examples on the web how to do this.[/quote]
Hi Yuri, this answer is from 2019, is there any change about this ?
Move to grid snap, and snap to extremity of other objects ?I need this for a new customer.
"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerNot a big deal, just to communicate test links to my customers, it is good to have one unique link.

NaxosCGCustomeroriginal : https://v3d.net/nba
regenerated : https://v3d.net/o0v"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerMy bad, i dunno that.
Just the new shorten is different from the original one…"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerSince this test i’ve worked on future Billards tables, usin AR.
It is very fonctionnal, but it comes with constraints :
– Use meters
– Use USD shaders"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerI can see that your measure tool puzzles would be usefull also for this project…
"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerWhat do you think it would be clever to do so ?
Some regular Verge3D stuff, or new dedicated puzzle nodes ?"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerGood question, for now it is not yet a project, but a serious potential customer that is asking me for this kind of configurator.
Before making him any proposal, i have to be sure i will be able to make it.
All the 3D part (model, shaders, baking) and all the color changes i can manage, as i’ve made plenty of Verge3D stuff yet.
Only part o don’t know how to do is this object placement with some clever drag/drop.Maybe you could make some test with cubes, show me the result (video or online demo), and tell me how much you ask for it. So i can make my proposal to the customer, including your part.
Let me know."1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerI mean within the 3D scene : how to be able to place meshes/objects like they do in the example ?
Regardless of the side where we drag the object, it changes orientation and position of the already placed objects, plus the semi-transparent object."1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerOk, i’ve changed my object. I though i’ll save some time using some internet already-made mesh, i didn’t
