Hi Alexander,
https://v3d.net/ar) works on my iPhone 15 pro max / iOS 17.4.1But here what happened :
Installed 4.6.0, opened old app i’ve made :
> just opened the puzzle, to add one Hide / Show obejct puzzle, nothing special.
> saved puzzle, upped onto v3d.net server for test
Not working.I’ve uninstalled 4.6.0, back to 4.5.1, got back a backuped version of the same app, edited puzzle to add my show/hide object puzzle, upped to v3d.net server :
Works like a charm. To be precise, under 4.6.0, i only added 2 hide/show puzzles, i did not upgraded the app to 4.6 using the round green arrow.

NaxosCGCustomerHi guys,
Is there any known issue with AR on Android ?I’ve made some billard table using AR, all works fine.
I’ve started a mini-soccer table AR app, starting from the billards app so the puzzles and so on are the same, but it does not work on Android (iOS is fine) : The photo goes in camera/vedio mode, but the “show prompt” “move around” does not shows itself.
Strange : when i close the AR mode (not with exit AR button as i did not be able to go in AR, but with the exit full screen button, the “move around” button is shown over the scene, and very strange, the 3D scene area (iframe ?) looks shifted, like projected onto a plane in perspective…Any idea ?
PS : the AR puzzles are from the default “augmented reality” app.Attachments:

NaxosCGCustomerGreat ! i’ll check that.

NaxosCGCustomerNo need to max files. Perhaps we might already found the cause of this issue, stay tuned!
Sir, yes sir !

NaxosCGCustomerI guess all of them are needed : 435 files.
And my Billards tables papps are far more : 1583 files"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
NaxosCGCustomerThanks, I believe we might have something to do about it!
In this zip i forgot to put max files, is that ok without them ?

NaxosCGCustomerSorry Alexander, again i don’t find where to send files for review…
Please use the contact form to send the link to the ZIP.
Just did it, thanks.

NaxosCGCustomerHi,
Could you please export your entire project to ZIP and send us to verify this issue? Might be something to do with file names…Sorry Alexander, again i don’t find where to send files for review…

NaxosCGCustomerThe problem is very old and can happen when you try to upload more than 100mb per project. There are a lot of similar topics on this forum.
I understand, but i think all my projects are far above 100mb, and i never had any problem uploading them to Soft8soft server…
I’ll send a zip to Alexander.

NaxosCGCustomer[Update] :
I’ve copied the files manually to some web server, and it works : same behaviour between local and server app.Just i can’t send to Soft8soft test server…

NaxosCGCustomerRegarding AR, it looks strange! Does the reworked Augmented Reality demo (link) works for you?
I found this issue : the upgrade in 4.6 did change the main html file, so my “enter AR” button was just not there.

NaxosCGCustomerHi there !
To prevent problems, i’ve installed 4.6 pre1 on a secondary PC. So without license.
I tested my current project, and set PWA and offline ON.
Exported.
I can’t see any pwa button (tested on safari and chrome) on iPad / iPhone.
Did i miss something ?Also, my « go to AR » did not show, so the device is not recognisez as « AR-ready »…
The same exported project with 4.5.x without PWA does show the AR button, on same devices…Any ideas ?

NaxosCGCustomerHi Yuri,
I did not fully succeded :
– i can find the infos i need (pixel size X & Y, and camera focal lengh in mm, but not with the use of “open file” / ” assign opened file as texture in material”.Thing is the exif reading is done on the file read, and the texture assignment is done with the content of the opened file (in data format or something).
So to make it work (as far as my poor code knowledge can bring me) would be to ask the end user to select twice the picture file : once for reading exif infos, and second for reading the actual pixel datas to change the texture.
Any help would be nice, or better : one puzzle to read some main exif infos would be great !
Best regards.

NaxosCGCustomerThank you, Yuri, i’ll give a try.
Of course, if i don’t succeed, i’ll ask for some help
Regards.
