Hi @c4cc, yes simple shaders would be smaller and faster to process than traditional .png textures.
John SperryCustomerHi @c4cc, this was a huge model to build so I had to minimize the amount of polygons I used, all the assets were very simply made. I kept almost all the materials principled shaders rather than .png textures. When I used png textures I kept them small in file size and square, 512×512, 1024×1024 for example.

Here is the real world application for the custom annotations.
I used Verge 3D to create an event map that highlights points of focus for a National Stampede happening this fall.

The new preloader function you added, where you just have to upload your SVG, is amazing by the way! Saves soooooo much time and effort.
