Is there a way to launch MAX with Verge suppressed? Where I can have two ways to launch max, with and without verge loaded on the same machine without uninstall/reinstall?
dman3dCustomerIt appears the clean up file worked or at least something did. The co-worker is reporting the file opens with no errors for him. I confirmed this opening the same file on another machine without verge.
Thanks for the help. If for any reason this recurs will post to this thread.
dman3dCustomerof course this morning I cannot re-create the error. So I hope this means clean up did the trick or whatever worked. I will have a co-worker also load the file on another machine without verge to see the result.
dman3dCustomerI did try “clean up scene” will test again to ensure this and will send along a test file shortly.
dman3dCustomerI merged a files exhibiting the issue into a new file and on exit the attached message.

dman3dCustomerah, I kept thinking integer is a whole number duh
dman3dCustomerThat is difficult as I am not sure what I need to do to make this work. I have been unable to locate any examples.
I have attached one of my attempts based on a previous post, clearly incorrect as it is not the desired effect.
I think I need to somehow iterate the clones so each position is random from each other, currently they just appear in a line and do not animate of course.
I want it to create 30 clones, all at a random location not more than X distant from the original
