Ok, but this will not work with a pure “line” object, like my circle which does not have any face, and is rendered uniquely when the “line rendering” option is ticked, am I right?

I’m pretty shure there is a solution to get what I need.
Perhaps using helpers like the “polar grid helper” on GlifTek’s helpers plugin, which I alos bought, but I am facing another issue with this one, as I cannot find how to control the added helper (move/snap to another object…) once added, and GlifTek is not providing any answer yet…
I manage to create exactly what I need (a single circle, with a color as defined in my list), but the helper sticks to the world’s origin, and I can see no mean to move it… :(

I mean using the “line rendering” option in Verge3D mesh panel (see below)

I can have something looking like this:

But I don’t know if and how I can change the line rendering color (is it possible??)

    Hi!
Thank you again, that is quite simple indeed… However, ideally I would like to have only the outer circle line (i.e. draw only a circle, not have the center vertex and the radiuses lines…).
I imagine that the “clone object” puzzle will have the cloned object share the same material and I won’t be able to affect a single material per object.
Do you see a way to clone a base circle (without the radiuses) and still be able to control it’s own material?

    Cheers

The color picker is this one:
    Coloris color picker
Perhaps there are other ones more convenient to use with Verge3D puzzles? Basically I would like to add color pickers in some table cells (one per line of the table), and then control the color of some associated objets in the 3D scene.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    Hi!
I’ve just purchased a bunch of plugins from your shop, and I have one question about this one:
Is it possible to manipulate the helpers once created (i.e. move/scale, parent to another object, etc…)?
    Thanks for the help!

@kdv77kdv It looks very promising, I’ve just bought the plugin (and two of yours!), but I can’t figure out how to change point of view and take several screenshots to add to my pdf.
The tween camera does not seem to work when used inside the generate pdf puzzle, even with the once finished option…
How did you achive this in your example??
    Thanks

    Hi!
@KDV, I guess this should help me resolve my Appended objects not moving when I drag them, but I’m a little lost…Can’t get this to work! :(

    Hi @kdv77kdv!
As suggested I try to dig a little bit more bu myself, but I’m struggling to find where is the “getOnjectByName” procedure is defined, and how to call it using the puzzles I have… This procedure is not available in the left panel, and I see no mean to type it manually… I probably missed something there…
    Any suggestion/help?

And @netcraft, did you manage to make it work finally? Any feedback about this or link to your result?

    Regards

    That’s interesting.
OK just saw the screenshot you added! :) definitely out of my league for now…
Would it be possible for example to share an “unbranded” or simplified version of the application that you show in your video, that we could understand and adapt to our needs? At what cost? And eventually some additional days of technical support in case needed?
Do you have an email or a website to get in contact?
    Cheers

Thanks KDV! That’s exactly what we need to achieve (using different models of course in another environment, but that’s not a problem obviously…).
I also can see several other functionalities that are definitely in our client’s requirements, like save/load capability, measuring tool, export to image or pdf(?).
What I can see in your demo video would be easily adapted to our needs I guess, is it based on Verge3D puzzles? on three.js code? a mix of the two?
Are you offering freelance development options? where are you based?

    Hi again,
Anyone here to explain to me how to use the “create line” puzzle that is included in the ruler plugin? I can’t figure out how to use it…
    Thanks!

Thanks for the help and demo files, but unfortunately I think my issue is a little more complicated than this… in fatc there are several movements in action there: the crane boom and tips are moving, and the pistons shall follow their respective attachment points on the crane AND point towards each other (piston/cylinder pointing toward each other).
The problem is that when the crane rises almost vertical, the piston Y axis is no more pointing upward (vs World Z axis) but slightly downward, and to keep “Y Up”, Verge3D flips the piston around its Z axis 180degrees…
See illustrations below, in Blender which does not flip the piston and let it point downward.
