Awesome news! Mozilla’s WebXR Browser brings better VR/AR implementation in its latest major update. That means, from now on Verge3D supports Augmented Reality on iOS devices!
This feature will require one minor modification in your application – you should enable transparent background for your 3D canvas with the configure application puzzle.
Hi, We tried on APPLE IPAD to open the AR, it was not giving error nor entering the scene. Let us know if we are missing some settings.

We tried to open on I pad by installing the webxr app. It was not entering into AR mode. Any specific setting needs to be done? We made back ground transparent and tried as well.

We were using older version of Verge3D. If the file size becomes more than 100MB, AR version will struggle to display properly. The hardware requirement needs to be understood properly.

chiduParticipant@vincent, I have been able to get the whole AR stack (Google AR Services, Chrome, and Verge3D) working on several devices. I have run it on a Pixel 3 XL and a Pixel 2. By far, the best experience that I have experienced is on a 2019 Samsung Galaxy Tab S6. Admittedly, the Tab S6 is a pricey device, but the Pixels can be purchased used for not too much. I expect the prices for the Pixel 3’s to drop after Google introduces the Pixel 4 in two weeks.
It seems that phone OEMs will be certifying new devices to work with Google Play Services for AR, but I would not expect the OEMs to backport support for legacy phones.Hi Jem,
We are very much interested to know what was the approximate file size you tried with AR in samsung galaxy tab s6? We have tried with couple of examples for an exterior of the building with blender in AR. It lags too much and struggle to respond properly.Regards,

Thanks for the reply. The light effect in Blender looks different in Verge3D. Lot of brightness in Verge3D. Need to understand bit on this.
What is the reasonable file size of blender we should limit ourself for AR application using verge3D?
