yes, when i use the link i only get the cube. I will send you the sample link tonight, here i am at work and sitting behind a fat firewall which prevents that the app manager can reach out to your server.

currently i have a animation (as stated in another thread) based on a wave modifiyer and a mesh deform. I can transfer that to animated shape keys, so there is a feasable way. Thank you for your offer and i will for certain come back here if i have problems. The issue with the vertex animation was my last major problem so far. Like i said, i made my client quite enthusiastic about the possibilities of web 3d, but now i have to deliver at least a small sample.

yes i understand, but i am not talking about smoothing by adding geometry. If you look at the image I attached, both shapes are identical by their geometry, but the left has the shading set to “flat” and the other is set to “smooth”. If that flat/smooth shading is supported i was asking about.
