Precisely 2.80 official.
BUT I also use Chocofur’s asset manager as I have a full library that I use all the time, and I’ve noticed Chocofur’s materials are almost never V3D compatible, as they almost always have complex shaders. Displacement mapping is guarantee no to work….
I’ll have a look and see if I can identify it. Did you notice the lag? is it because it’s rebuilding the entire scene?
I
Avier3DCustomerLooks awesome!
Yeah….Ctrl+X is odd :/Avier3DCustomerSure!
I’ve uploaded a version with two cubes that simply hide/show the light groups.
The model/texture is not really optimised yet, but still it’s rather very slow, not sure why.

Cheers
Avier3DCustomerThanks,
I tried that and I thought the operation froze, and was not working, but later realised it had 10-15 seconds to update and hide the light. Is it normal it takes so long to hide lights? (but does not happen with meshes etc)Avier3DCustomerHello,
Yes I found that in another post, but the assets in the scene remain illuminated by lamps or environment, if I could control this light setup change, that would do. I understand it is possible by adding animation to lights and triggering it?Avier3DCustomerHallo,
I’m trying to figure out the same, or change the value/intensity of a Sun light, or hide/unhide, or change the intensity of the World.
Where could I find an example of how to get around this or a similar solution?Thank you :)

It’s a GREAT piece of engineering.
Avier3DCustomerHi Ozbend,
When you say “I tried this way. Too complicated and long process. I want to build a scene, press sneak peek and see the result”, I think you are not aware you are asking for the holly grail that giants from Nvidia to Intel to Apple to many other software companies have been trying to solve for decades.
WebGL is just one more flavour of OpenGL. And although nowadays it is kind of possible (Eevee, UE4 and others), they still belong to very complicated systems and expensive hardware.
Which is a quite different from the WebGL scenario, which is “convenient”, ergo, browsers in smartphones, tablets, desktops, or even cheap NUC’s attached to giant touch screens (I did a test, works great!).You are asking for a magical think at this stage.
There’s two options:
-Fund Soft8Soft with enough capital to hire all the workforce to design such brilliant piece of software, yes please pretty please :)
-Or, be a 3D artist that knows production pipeline and the “Too complicated and long process” you mention is just part of your skills. I do this as a week job and earn an entire living, married with children. If I can, you can too :)Avier3DCustomeryou are really eating your spinach! great stuff.
I’m interested in the Gltf viewer with verge3d, what is it exactly?
Avier3DCustomerIt’s ok Yuri, I think Ton has to very often take drastic turns in Blender’s boat, V3D is not the first nor the last, there’s plenty of blender devs coming up and all rallying for some space.
Keep the social media rolling and showcase user’s work and I’m sure plenty more people will join.
Avier3DCustomerthanks!
I had a HDD crash and lost many projects, but after a professional recovery I managed to get most, cheers.Avier3DCustomerah yes, I googled and found that site too, thanks, I was wondering if anyone else in here did it already.
I hear that there’s a new distro that will run webgl out of the box…..Avier3DCustomerAre you guys into nootropics, steroids or something?
How do you work so much?Great stuff.
Avier3DCustomerAvier3DCustomer-NEVERMIND…..
After kicking the computer, arguing with my family, cursing microsoft, and doing some voodoo…. it came back to normal :P
