(mainly focused on RGBShiftShader)
That’s all. Just 4 lines of code needed in this case…
https://v3d.net/i2lThank you so much kdv! I really appreciate that– this made my day!!!
Alexander, that would be amazing– as I have been trying to bring different post-processing effect to my V3D projects, and more documentation would be a lifesaver for beginning/intermediate developers like me!!! Thank you!!!!
JohnsonCustomer@kdv That looks amazing!!! This would only be for use on an extremely powerful PC, which is in a gallery/museum setting to push the limits of v3d and three.js– not so much an accessible project for use on many devices.
How would one add this to a v3d project? Could you explain this to me, as an artist that is gradually learning development, pretty please?

Thank you kdv! I had no idea that was in the code examples, appreciate you putting the link in this topic.
Do you know how to add this to a V3D project using the .js file in the project folder?
JohnsonCustomerHi Soft8Soft!
I wanted to ask about this– is it possible to have real-time vertex displacement in Verge3D as is possible in other editors and frameworks via Blender?
I’ve attached a gif below for reference
Would love to know what can be done in v3d!
JohnsonCustomerHi Soft8Soft!
Whenever I use texture compression w/ 4.0, my scene exports to only a black screen– do you have any idea why that would be happening?
Filtering is off and compression is set to auto in the Node sidetab.
Sidebar: Also, is there any way that a puzzle for deviceorientation could be added to the final version of 4.0? To enhance V3D experience for mobile users?
JohnsonCustomerGetting the same issue when exporting, using 2.93– cant export any projects at all.Issue fixed by updated version, just seeing yuri’s last message. Thanks for fixing that so fast!
JohnsonCustomerJohnsonCustomerThis stackoverflow topic outlines how to encode webm with alpha that works in iOS when libvpx is enabled.
I haven’t tested it yet as I just found this today and I haven’t encoded a video as posting this– but let me know if it works on your end:
JohnsonCustomerThis a huge update! Thanks Soft8Soft for including the afterimage upgrade, this version seems to run alot smoother too!
JohnsonCustomerThank you so much for adding the video alpha channel! Really appreciate it!
JohnsonCustomerThat’s great to hear!!! Looking forward to the next updates! Thank you for getting back to me, much appreciated.
JohnsonCustomerJust wanted to check back in about this topic– is support for video alpha possible in Verge3D or is it planned to be added anytime soon?
JohnsonCustomer@GLiFTeK: That sounds great! Please keep me updated, this is something I’m trying to implement before the end of this month.
@Xeon: Thank you so much for the insights, I’m aware that JavaScript can be loaded via puzzles, but no idea how to apply post-processing plugins to the camera. Is there any way you can please supply an example or screenshot of addition via JavaScript or how to build that plug-in to clarify what you were saying? I’m sure I’m not the only user on this message board that would be appreciative!
JohnsonCustomerI too am wondering if this is possible within V3D, the addition of motion blur would be a game changer!
JohnsonCustomerThat pretty much worked! Thank you so much for your help with this, very much appreciated!
