    Hi, if I know the ID of an image in WordPress and add an empty link, would I be able to trigger events in verge3d by using that “ID” from the “parent document” in the Puzzle? I can do this when adding “Custom HTML”, but cant seem to be able to do it when using wordpress elements like a slider gallery.

    Hi,

    This may depend on the specific gallery plugin. First of all if it’s embedded in an iframe then it’s no longer in the parent document and can’t be easily accessed from puzzles.

    Also, there’s a possibility that the slider gallery plugin while adding event listeners to its child elements for its own functioning prevents triggering of any other events including those that you can add via puzzles.

    Thanks very much for that. Your first observation nailed the issue on the head, I changed from Nicepage to Elementor Pro and now I can add my IDs. The issue is an old one and its documented with them (Nicepage WordPress Plugin):
