I am using the 3ds Max version and often use the water effect in my work. I kindly request the official to add it in the new version or tell me how to achieve it through materials?

There are many ways to create water in Max. Could you be more specific about the “effect”.
You are probably going to be limited to creating a shader/material using the material nodes specifically supported by V3D as listed here: https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/max/Materials-Maps-Reference.html

    Hello Xeon!

I have tried multiple times to use materials to achieve the dynamic water that I need in my work (such as rivers, ditches, pools, etc.), but have been unsuccessful. If you could share a copy of the 3ds Max engineering file, I would be extremely grateful.

    Expected effect:

In that topic you’ll find the demo with water. Ask the author to show you how he did it in Max.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

    Hi kdv
Perhaps the author may not be able to present it, as I left him a message but did not receive a response.

Do other 3ds Max users know how to implement it?
