How do I get a Verge3D VR website to run in VR inside the Meta Quest 3 browser? With the Quest 3 running standalone without a PC?
How to get the “Virtual Reality” demo project to run in VR on Meta Quest 3?
It’s starting as windowed, it recognizes the thumbstick for movement, but the controller are in mouse emulation mode, and everything is 2D inside the window.
I have huge use cases for this. Also passthrough would be awesome.2024-11-15 at 10:06 am #78795kdvParticipantHow to get the “Virtual Reality” demo project to run in VR on Meta Quest 3?
just open it in the Meta Quest browser and click on
Enter VR
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

2024-11-18 at 3:55 pm #78894vkleinCustomerYes, very funny. If that button would be there like on my desktop browser with Quest attached per link I would press it.
2024-11-18 at 3:58 pm #78895vkleinCustomerThat’s not right. It’s much more that that. You would know if you once picked up a Quest 3/pro and used it more than 5 minutes.

2024-11-18 at 4:24 pm #78898vkleinCustomerDevelopers? Please? There is no Enter VR button with your newest “Virtual Reality” demo project native on a Meta Quest 3 browser. Firmware v71 on the Q3.
2024-11-18 at 4:28 pm #78899vkleinCustomerI am not kidding, there is no “Enter VR” button on my Quest, newest Update, with the Verge3D demo.
2024-11-18 at 4:33 pm #78900vkleinCustomerOk, directly from the store, it shows a Enter Vr button. Didn’t show up when started from the projects. But after clicking and accepting inputs does not work, and transparencies /AO are broken. AO pass? superimposed over the floor, chair on the side have their transparency/Z inverted.

AR/VR modes won’t work from your local PC. they require HTTPS.

nothing serious ))) they just broke somehow that demo. I suppose there are some issues with v3d.js 4.8.0. a couple of months ago it was working fine.
Check this demo https://v3d.net/14to. It should work properly.

I am yet to test this example on it.2024-11-20 at 10:29 am #78970vkleinCustomerThanks for the working example. It’s not some problems with the Quest or the v71 update. The actual Ver3D Virtual Reality demo has graphics errors. Your demo is working and looking fine. Must be a version prior to the one which started the problems with.
Let’s hope they can fix the problems soon, I have a customer in need of a mobile VR web solution.2024-11-21 at 9:48 am #79001Yuri KovelenovStaff2024-11-21 at 12:12 pm #79002Yuri KovelenovStaff -
