    Hi all!

    I’m a brand new user of verge3D. A client asked for an interactive web application where a customers could choose any vinyl wrap and see it wrapped on a 3d-car with natural lightning and realistic representation of the product. After som research i found on youtube a video about Verge3D and it looked like it would fit my use perfectly. I instantly bought a lisence, even without testing it first. As I’ve used Maya for the last 16 years, I chose that one, but now I see that it’s somewhat limited compared to the blender-version. But that may change in the near future and things like “coat” will be supported in maya as well.

    Anyhow, I’ve made a prototype/proof of consept that is very promising for the further development towards the final product. The spheres for choosing the different options is temporarily integrated in to the gltf. Since there are hundreds of different vinyls to choose from, the pickers will have to be in the webdesign for the final version.

    Since this is my first time using Verge3D I would apreciate it if you have any comments/suggestions.

    excellent work! :good: :good: :good: we’re planning to port our Scooter demo to Maya in the near future, which will help with automotive applications like yours!

    Thats great, Yuri! Porting of the scooter demo would be very helpful.

    I realise that this section is for finished projects, not WIPs, so I’m gonna update this thread a couple of more times. I’ve played a bit more with the shading possibilities in maya and the gltf is updated with more variations.

    The demo/prototype is done. I’m quite pleased with it. Now the customer will design their own GUI.
