    Hi,
After the latest Meta Quest browser update, videos are flickering in VR-Mode.
It looks like it’s a problem brought in by Meta, because it worked without any problems before.

I would be happy if someone could confirm this bug.
I’m using Meta Quest 3 with Meta Quest Browser Version 33.3

Does someone have a good resource to get in contact with a real developer instead
    of an AI-Chat-Supporter?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi Tom,

perhaps they got some bug tracker to post about this issue?

    Hi Yuri,

Contacting a human beeing from Meta is a challenge, until now, I always got some
unhelpful advises from an AI – Chatbot who pretends to be a human being.
That’s why I just would like to know, if others also have this problem described above.

    Hi Verge3d users

With the latest updates with Meta Quest 3 I have still this damn problem with flickering videos.
It was introduced with a Meta Browser v32 update .
Now I am running Meta Quest V66 and Meta Browser v34.
Meta support is almost full of AI Agents, where support is limited.
Would be cool, if someone could test following link
and confirm or not confirm the bug.

    v64/v33.1
See no issues except playback lags.

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

I am using Uest3 at my end for many ongoing development activities.
After reading your post I checked my version. it shows me – 65.0.0.546.341.596.219110

There is shows me update available for V66, but after reading your post I don’t want to update soon. LOL

My meta browser version is showing – 34.00.121.29.615295309

One thing is sure… too much usage of AI especially handling & supporting to customers is going to create negative impact on all businesses in near future.
It becomes almost impossible to connect personally OR humanly with anyone. Today this bullshit AI hops in between every time, which hardly is fed with basic information and cant really resolve when needed urgently.
Once the hype of this AI stupidity settles people will move towards actual humans again.

    Hi kdv

    thanks for checking.
Did you use a Meta Quest 3 Device?

After I made a factory reset, it was fine again (but oldest Browser-Version).. but after one reboot it updates itself and then the problem is here again.

    Thanks Tom

    Hi visualier
could you see the flickering with your Meta Quest 3?
It’s a little risky as long we don’t have an equivalent other browser.

Wolvic Chromium Browser which is in early development has good performance, but
it’s antialiasing is terrible. I hope they will match one day the quality of the Meta Browser.
It’s a pitty, we can’t rollback to an earlier version, only factory reset is possible.

    Thanks for testing
    Tom
