So i made this rather complex interactive config with a car using the Verge3D trial. The car had a lot of vertices, and there was a lot of code put into it on Verge3D’s programming interface but it still loaded fine and was not laggy at all when opened.
However I made this file on a different computer from my home one. Now I didn’t think this was an issue as I had made a much simpler project that when transferred between devices still worked, but for some reason this car just won’t open on my computer at home, the loading bar gets stuck at 60% every time.
I have done everything I can think of, uninstalling and reinstalling Verge3D, I have downloaded the project from the original computer on two different occasions two different ways but with the same result. I am using google drive to transfer these files, and it worked before for a simpler project, but I can’t figure out when it won’t work now. Anyone have any ideas on what I am doing wrong? If you need screenshots or files just let me know. Thank you

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

Well, in this case your question has no answer Nothing to say without the app itself. Try to upload it to V3D network and open from your home computer…

Actually I did discover this error upon
checking the Dev menu again, though I am not sure how to interpret it.
I could also attach the ZIP file via google drive I downloaded from the original computer and you could check out the app itself, would that help?Attachments:

Well just let me know if you find anything wrong, and thank you for all the help thus far. Here is a link to a zipped version of the project.

Looks like your home PC simply can’t cope with it. And all office computers also won’t. Half-Life Alyx in VR with Ultra settings is loading GPU and CPU less then your app

2024-06-20 at 6:13 am #75079badbossParticipantThe car I used isn’t one I modeled, I knew it had a lot of verts but not that many haha. There was a lot of excess geometry I can cut out to reduce that, but I am not familiar with what render calls are. I am assuming it has to do the different lights I used in the scene reflecting off the model, or the animation of the car exploding. Do you have any other tips to reduce the heaviness of the app?
One thing that does confuse me though is the computer I constructed this app on ran it perfectly fine, and it only has specs slightly better than my one at home. Perhaps since I made the app on that device it can work there, but transferring all the data on the web is too much? Thanks for taking the time to check out my app.2024-06-20 at 6:16 am #75080kdvParticipantI knew it had a lot of verts but not that many haha.
are you sure?
