    I saw the youtube vid of the spinner being added to woocommerce with all the options etc.

    That is pretty awesome. Does it have to be added with woocommerce, can’t I add it with a regular wordpress post or gallery?

    Basically we want to build a catalogue like the woocommerce example, but not actually have the “commerce” enabled. In other words, just a catalogue with hundreds of products, without prices, but still with the ability to show variations and configurations per product. Is this possible?

    sure, you can use the WP plugin just for embedding Verge3D apps in your website.
