Blender-specific
The node Shader > Specular is now supported. It is similar to the Principled BSDF node but uses the specular workflow instead of the metallic. The specular workflow functions by specifying the facing (along normal) reflection color. See more details about this node in Blender Manual.
Empty node groups now work properly (thanks for report).
Max-specific
The option to disable camera controls has been added. Also the unavailable options are now grayed out.
We fixed the export crash caused by an animated object missing custom Verge3D properties (thanks for report).
Maya-specific
We have added the settings for the first person camera similarly to Blender and 3ds Max versions.
HTML Puzzles
The new puzzle create CSS rule is available. Particularly, you can create new classes with this puzzle for applying them to HTML elements.
The add HTML element puzzle no longer sets position to absolute automatically. Be careful to review your applications if you relied on this feature. We have also added a default Text input to this puzzle (see the screenshot above).
The pair of puzzles set/get attr were renamed as set/get prop to match the respective JavaScript methods (see the screenshot above).
Other Puzzles
The new puzzle is available: in list check occurrence of item. With this puzzle you can easily find if a list contains some item or not.
The set object direction puzzle has obtained the point checkbox. It is enabled by default to reproduce the old behavior. If this checkbox is disabled, the puzzle works with direction vector instead.
The puzzle clone object can now be connected with a Text puzzle.
Physics
We introduced a new physics puzzle: apply body param. It replaces the old physics body params and apply vector puzzles.
The new puzzle can take either numbers or vectors. Unlike with the old puzzle, you can set a single parameter that you need to change, rather than having to set them all.
We have also added another useful puzzle – get body param – with which you can retrieve current parameters of a physical body. One of possible cases where this feature comes in handy is character jumping.
Finally, we have updated Verge3D’s physics runtime ammo.js to include the latest improvements from the upstream repository.
Other improvements
We have updated and improved the following examples: “Elearning”, “Load Unload”, “Augmented Reality”.
Bug fixes
We have fixed the append scene puzzle that crashed in some cases.
We have fixed an issue that prevented building the installer for Verge3D Ultimate.

Blender might be at 3.4 but the maya plugin should be something like 2.x, its behind Blender and if Max is the same way as in not as developed as blender everyone needs to know where they are in the spectrum.
I use MAYA and thought given the version numbers the add-ons had the same feature sets. That was a mistake…now I have to buy another license for Blender because I am forced to switch. Please consider some sort of qualifier that lets people know ahead of time that the plugins are not equal.

We believe that Maya version is quite developed to be comparable with 3ds Max version. For example, it does include support for Morph target animations, mixed morph/skinned animations, and supports even more material nodes than Max version does! Indeed, both Verge3D for Max and Verge3D for Maya are not so mature products as Verge3D for Blender, but considering that the later is being developed more than 3 years, the situation is not so bad!
Still, we’re fully aware that the Maya version is not perfect and there is a room for improvements. Please help us to make it better!P.S: We would be really happy if you make a short list of features you absolutely need to see in Verge3D for Maya.
