Hi
Is there anyway possibility to install verge app on Quest3.
If not is Verge team considering something like this?
The reason is every time the WIP is to be uploaded on server and then access via Quest3.
Is it is possible anyway to enable Quest3 access Verge app manage like localhost:8668, it will be very easy for development activity & Verg can become a production pipeline tool with VR headset.2024-05-02 at 1:53 pm #72588Yuri KovelenovStaffHi visualizer,
You can use port forwarding to quickly test out an app in the VR headset.

Yuri
Unfortunately chrome doesnt run on Quest3. In recent past I tested this couple of times but Chrome crashes on Quest3.I made necessary changes & local server ran well on metbrowser no issues.
It is just have same WiFi for system & Quest3 and you are good to go!
However I found that there is no Enter VR button visible in Quest3 when run in local server mode. Any fix for this ?- This reply was modified 7 months, 3 weeks ago by visualizer.

Enable port forvarding on PC and open http://localhost:8668 in the MetaBrowser. Works fine for any Android device provided your headset is connected to PC via ADB protocol (cable or wireless).
Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.
If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

My question is can we bring that “Enter VR’ button in local server mode. However I found that there is no Enter VR button visible in Quest3 when run in local server mode. Any fix for this ?

Your question has been answered in the second post of this topic. Yes, we can, it’s possible provided you did everything correctly.

Enable port forvarding on PC and open http://localhost:8668 in the MetaBrowser
Which of words in this sentence you didn’t understand?
do I have to upgrade to 4.6?
No. It doesn’t matter at all in this case.

As usual first possibility is more.
I checked it with chrome (running chrome on pc and accessing it via Quest 3) it worked fine.I am yet to check it with metabrowser on Quest3. Will check it in 1-2 days. Should be through.
