I have created a simple sphere with an emission (Blender 3.3, V3D 4.1.1)

Added blue on sphere on black screen and the result produces a square glow. Expected a radial glow like we had in 3.9.1.

    Hi
    I have a query,
Is it possible to provide post processing effect to certain objects only? by excluding all others or as needed?

When I tried it applies overall scene. I want to restrict it for selected things only

I had to abandon the use of bloom to provide the typical glowing effect. I need more precise control over certain objects as you mentioned as well. What I am using now are emissive sprites and the effect is far better and matches the shape (round, – n-gon, etc. ). Just be sure to turn of “depth write” in V3D material settings. This is much better for performance too.
