    Hey,

is it possible to have a configurator where different combinations are created in verge3d.

So there will be a few parts and a few materials and textures which the user can configure.

My plan is to export that exact configuration directly from the configurator as usdz.

Any info on that? I dont want to create the preconfigured models because there are more than 500+ possible combinations. :-)

    Thanks a lot!

The export to USDZ gives you the option to select object. You can choose which objects you want to export by making the object: all objects, a collection, a list defined by a variable, etc.
This gives you the freedom to export what you want or in your case what your users configure.

 try to export to USZD a list of meshes (using the corresponding puzzle in Verge3D) and see the result. It’s possible to export several meshes but not this way…

Puzzles and JS coding. Fast and expensive.

If you don’t see the meaning in something it primarily means that you just don’t see it but not the absence of the meaning at all.

So what? That puzzle creates one mesh (removing initial meshes). And yes, this one comlex mesh can be exported to USDZ (provided its materials are glTF compatible).

There is a non-destructive way to do the job…
