Hello,
After some tests that went well, i’m starting a new one, with a large-polycount test, and the render of shaders is quite strange, as if all my shaders were wrong with high metalness / IOR.Here see the object in 3DSmax (i’ve imported it in the default cube scene, and the exported glTF.
I’ve checked twice my shaders : made from scratch physical ones, with classical values and the environment is the one from Cube.max default scene (see second picture)
any idea ?"1+1=3... for large values of 1"
2019-03-24 at 3:04 pm #13189NaxosCGCustomerThe whole mesh scene is 15 272 237 polys, that is a lot i know : is there anyway that this large number of polys could prevent the shading to work normally ?

Any email adress ?"1+1=3... for large values of 1"

Sorry, it’s awailable only for customers. You can include in the file only part of the mesh and materials that has problems and attach it here.

2019-03-25 at 4:25 pm #13246NaxosCGCustomerIn the midtime i’ve optimized the object (it’s from a STEP file), and now it renders ok. (200 k polys)
Maybe too heavy scenes are hard to render properly ?
About becoming a customer, i have to make some more tests (and figure out how to put a html background that fits the 3D placement (see my babytest example : https://cdn.soft8soft.com/AROAJSY2GOEHMOFUVPIOE:056ac22648/applications/BabyTest/BabyTest.html ), and learn how to use html buttons / picture buttons to trigger stuff in the Verge3D scene.
I’m not a coder, this is my pain for that last 2 things, but i do understand algorythmic / logical stuff. And puzzles are good for me. the html part is the dark point.

Sometimes different errors may appear after importing geometry, so when you retopologied the mesh they may dissapear. There’s no problem to render more than 200k or even 2 milion, but it will be just slower.

The puzzle for now already very powerful tool to create most of the common used things that you can find in e-commerse 3d configurators and it’s possibilities grow fast each release of the enigne.

I’m not a coder too but I making all demos using Verge3D without any help/ from coders. To create a html page I use Webflow html visual editor it’s very comfortable easy and intuitive. I’ve tried a Google Web Designer, but I absolute dissatisfied with my result and you need to know site layout rules deep enough to with with it, and it has a trash interface (for my opinion). There’s also a lot of html visual editors but I can’t reccomend them because I haven’t tried them yet, but I will soon.

2019-03-26 at 2:03 pm #13274NaxosCGCustomerI’ve tried Webflow, it is simple and Wix-like, so i can handle that !
But, call me fool, i can’t find any way to save / download the created website, so i can replace in the applications folder for my Verge3D scenes…
What did i missed ? How can i use what i’ve made in Webflow with my Verge3D stuff ?
