here we go again:
I made a shadeless material setup (see attachment) and it worked for a while. Sometimes it just changes without my input and it looks like this: https://cdn.soft8soft.com/AROAJSY2GOEHMOFUVPIOE:83ed0f2ff6/applications/TP_unit_verge3d/TP_unit_verge3d.html
the floor is weirdly grey and not 100% white. All face normals are facing inwards towards the content. Inverting just makes hidden objects below show up (backface culling on off didn’t help? Any ideas? or is there a specific verge 3D shadeless shader :P I also tried the shadeless shader which comes with -> “import images as planes” nada

To get pure shadeless effet use only emittion with strength 1 or mix it using texture, but with another shader for example Diffuse shader or something. Cycles nodes support still in progress, most of the nodes are not supported yet.

2018-10-12 at 2:54 pm #8185jsteideleParticipantI see thank you Mikhail.
Weird, SOMETIMES it worked.
2018-10-12 at 3:41 pm #8186jsteideleParticipantfound it. I enabled Ambient Occlusion in the ShadingsTab of the viewport. Disabling fixed it using the original node setup as in the image above. Hope it helps other people
2018-10-12 at 3:58 pm #8188Mikhail LuzyaninStaffDisabling fixed with the node setup from above.
Hmm, I think it’s a bug, we’ll need to fix this.

2018-10-12 at 4:40 pm #8191jsteideleParticipantHey brian,
I am not sure if I understand correctly but the node setup which you can see attached to my original message is the one that works, no texture needed. If your idea was to control the colors of a shadeless mat. then just plug the texture into the “Color” socket of the emission shader . :)
2018-10-12 at 10:41 pm #8194brian.kumanchikCustomerI wanted to put a texture on a plane (like a sign) and not have it affected by the light in the scene.
2018-10-13 at 3:38 pm #8207Mikhail LuzyaninStaffUse pure emittion shader to get shadeless effect of the material.

You mean in Internal Render nodes? Then yes, but in Cycles you canno’t connect texture directly into output.
