Hi
I’ve been trying everything i can imagine to get this to work for the past 24 hrs.
I’ve got a series of 6 vertical, front facing discs in a radial formation on the Y,Xm axis.
i want to have them always facing “front” or “camera” as their “empty” null object spins.
I’m using Set Object Direction for all of them.
https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/puzzles/Objects.html#set_object_direction
they hold a pose.. but that pose is held as they rotate around their mutual center (the slowly turning empty null)it’s a very simple setup.
i used the example in the manual for the camera.. no dice..
then i put an empty where i wanted them to face.. and used that as the “get” object in their puzzles instead of the camera.
newp.
mind you i have the turning empty parented to a second master empty.
though i’ve tried this with and without the second empty null.i’ve applied all my transforms..
can’t think of anything else..possibly something you could think of that would interfere with this function or disable it?
halpz?!
thnx.

I fixed one disc for you.

BUT as i routinely do by force of habit.. i applied all transformations on them before exporting.. didn’t know that doing that, moved all their origins back to the global 0,0,0,.
thanks.. now back to the task at hand.
