Yes, you can run the App Manager in standalone mode.
To do this, launch Windows Terminal and type:
cd verge3d
(or whatever path you installed Verge in)manager\pywin\python.exe manager\server.py
Then open the browser and navigate to
http://localhost:8668/
as usual.2019-08-27 at 6:52 am #18157caroline.bertaudCustomerHello Yuri,

As of version 2.15 you can run the App Manager independently from 3ds Max by clicking the desktop/start icon.

You can’t launch Verge3D applications by clicking html files. You need to use App Manager or upload them to Verge3D Network or your own website.

1. So, if we develop interactive project for somebody, we need to give them the entire verge3D directory? or the only the applications directory?
2. Is there any automated way of launching app manger without blender? currently, we have to go to manger and start the server.py then launch localhost:8668 from chrome.
3. what if they do not have any website of their own? can the application be made completely portable?
Sorry for the above – as we are new to this platform.

The project you develop is located inside the applications/PROJECT_NAME folder. You can zip it and send to your customer by any method (flash drive, google drive, dropbox etc).

Not yet, you doing it right already. Maybe we’ll add this feature in some of our future releases.

Sure! You can create desktop app using Electron or Android/iOS app using Apache Cordova toolkit. BTW, we’re going to make an article on Electron very soon. Stay tuned!

No problem, we’re always glad to help our new customers!
