    Hello together,
I have a question where I couldn’t find an answer in my searches. Maybe I am using the wrong terms.

What I want to know if there is something like rules to set up for a parametric configurator.

I try to explain what I need to accomplish (all numbers are just examples). Please look at the attached image to understand my explanation:

I want to make it possible to change the width and the height of an object. The width you should be able to control in a range of maybe 100-400 in steps of 1 by using the red slider in the attached picture at A.

The height should be controlled with 5 fixed heights. Let’s say 20-40-60-100-160. This is represented at A with the green y-axis and the circles.

Not every height is available with every width. If you look at B the width was reduced, and when it reaches a certain minimum width, it should automatically change the height to the biggest available for that width. (Also it should not be possible to choose a greater height than the max for this width at this point.)

At C there is an additional element automatically added in the middle when a width about a certain amount was configured. This element should only show up above a certain width and should go away if I use the slider to lower the width.

I hope I could explain my needs.

Is this possible with Verge3D? If someone knows how, that would be great!

    Thank You!

Yes. it’s possible, but this is not a simple sutup: you will need to configure a combination of different logic like If Else and other puzles to get what you need. Look at Parametric Models Demo to start.

I just had a look at the Parametric Models Demo, but none of the examples does have a functionality like I requested. I understand how it shows to change geometry, but not following any “rules”. Did I miss something?

There’s no ready solution for your specific task, you will need to make your own using combination of logic and math puzzles.
