    Hi
    I m trying with 3.7 beta to check the reflection map with light probe in blender.
    However I am not getting it solved.
    After a bit of trials I m able to see something in “sneak peek” but the same when I publish it doesn’t show reflections. check Image attached.

    What wrong I am doing? Any help plz.

    Here is another trial I was checking with.

    The reflection in sphere looks ok but it looks abnormal in the backside plane/rectangle. looks as if magnified reflection.
    What is wrong n my settings?

    Also the floor doesn’t reflect. It has to be box? instead of plane?

    How the HDR reflection can be avoided? when some objects might need it in the scene?

    There’s a difference in Blender and Verge or you just can’t get the same with the cubemap reflection on both? Cubemap reflection will work bad with flat object there’s no way to use them for flat object so they looked like a real reflection.

    Thx for the update.
    That’s why I was wondering why it looks magnified in the reflection.

    Yes there is difference in blender & verge; they are –
    1. A magnified reflection
    2. A blurred & dimmed reflection intensity wise slightly

    Cant both be fixed by giving manual corrector button with values ? Just thought so.
    Any plans you would fix these issues in near future versions?

    Yes, seems there’s some problems with blurring, we’ll look can it be fixed.

    Aah OK!

    You already mentioned the limitation of flat surface reflection issue. However can there be any factor we can include to reduce size of reflection from unnecessary magnification? Just a sugegstion.

    This is a limitation of cubemap technique, to get proper reflections from flat surfaces better to use SSR. Reflection plane would help too, but it’s not supported yet.
