seeing several post effects are aviable in verge3d and can be enabled with puzzles, i was wondering why they are not controlled by the respective blender settings:
    p.e.
    – render settings: ambient occlusion, screen space reflections, bloom
    – camera settings: depth of field

is there a technical reason for this? or are they too far apart from the blender counterpart in respect to appearance, settings etc.?

    Hi,

we don’t use Blender settings for several reasons:

    1. Verge3D works also with 3ds Max and Maya and thus should provide a universal set of techniques
    2. some Blender effects require advanced OpenGL features, which we not always have in WebGL
    3. we often leverage effects implementation found in Three.js library which Verge3D is based on, and it can differ significantly from Blender’s
