    Hello,

I have a simple problem but couldn’t find a solution.

When I rotate my model while it is in the center (its original position) it rotates around itself, kind of.
But when I move it and then rotate, it rotates around the origin, by doing big circles.

So, is there an efficient way to make it always rotate as it is in its original position?

Couldn’t find any puzzle or three.js solution for it.

Any suggestion would be great. TY

What 3D app are you using and what version of Verge3D are you using?

Lastly is this an issue in your 3D app or after you export to V3D?

    Hello,

I’m using the 3.1.0 Blender version and the 3.9.0 verge3d.
It is after I extract it, and when I open it in a browser.

It is probably normal behavior but it makes a problem for me…

Verge 3.9 will work with Blender 3.0
Verge 4.0 pre 1 /alpha will work with 3.1 but expect some issues.

Can you share an example of the problem you are having?

    As an example:
Default cube and origin of cube at 0,0,0 in blender. Then I rotate via key frame, puzzles .. give detail.

    Give outcome as well please.

    Hello,

yea, but I think versions work just fine. I don’t have problems like synchronization in between them.

It works just the same as if we would just create a new project with the default cube in the center in a blender and then use Sneak Peek to try to rotate it. I will share a few screenshots to show it.
It is totally the same with my project, just imagine if I would like to move the cube some corner and then rotate it to fit in with the background.

From the first two screenshots, you can see that cube rotates around itself. But when I move it left and then rotate it with the left click, it rotates around the center of “display”, like doing circles.

Ok I think I know what you are since you are having this problem with a default cube and default camera.

Please note, that when you send your scene to sneak peak you are not rotating the cube. You are rotating the camera.

Next when you think you are moving the cube…you are actually moving the camera target. This is causing the offset you are seeing. The cube hasn’t moved…just where the camera is looking.

If you want to rotate the cube, you will need to open the App Manager and then create the necessary puzzles to rotate the cube or keyframe it in Blender and use the play animation puzzle.

May be your object parented to something?

    It makes sense…

Not sure if the animation will help me there because I want to have freedom, to position it however I want or maybe I miss some useful animation tool, will check.
But maybe as Mikhail wrote if I parent it…

    Will try.
