Sorry, but I’ve deleted it and it’s simple I’ve just put a simple sphere instead of teapots, just to get better view of reflections.

2021-09-28 at 10:03 pm #45421jezukCustomerI wish you could supply me with a max file showing me that this works as that would help eliminate things and help find what the actual problem is.
I had already tried myself with adding just a sphere, and it doesn’t work for me (ie no photometric lights visible in reflections).
How big is the sphere you created (yes that will matter), what material did you assign it (yes that will matter), did you change ANY parameter anywhere (yes of course, that would matter) ? Etc etc etc etc…..
Unlike you, I do not get identical results in Sneak Peek and when Running the App (via App Manager) – and as far as I can remember, Verge3D has been like this always for me.
Also, I do use the “Update” App (whenever it is showing as Highlighted and wanting to be pressed). I understand the ‘logic’ or process that’s going on here with Verge3D, but for sure, for me, 100%, Photometric lights do not work for my scene.
In any case, a lot of the time (nearly all the time) the “Update” button isn’t highlighted or indicating that it needs to be pressed….
And as I said, I’d tried photometric lights in your Gold Cube Application (that comes with the software and Photometric lights don’t work for me in there either).
It will be a real shame if you cannot / will not provide me with my file from you showing me that this works with just your sphere, as that would thwart my attempts at trying to debug this, your software, so that together WE can test what the problem is here as it ‘sounds’ like it could be an ‘environment’ issue with my setup.
Here I am, I’ve spent days trying to figure out what the problem is, and again, responding to your message at 11pm my local time. So this is something very important to me, and I need to get it fixed. And so not being provided with a working max file to prove one way or another will be a real shame (imho).
Thank you.

But it would helpful if you make a screenshot of your browser console when you see dark materials in the scene as I asked before. It would be helpful if you provide information about your system, 3ds max version (packs?) or have you installed any specific plugins in it (this sometime may cause a conflict).Attachments:

2021-09-29 at 6:38 am #45431jezukCustomerThanks Mikhail,
I will try your file later today. I will provide you with whatever you need to help me solve this, including a YouTube video, to show exactly what is happening.
Once again, many thanks.
2021-09-29 at 9:36 am #45444jezukCustomerHi Mikhail,
Many thanks for that – it really helped.
Lots was wrong with my scene….. (I’m a V-Ray user, is my excuse….).
First off, those lights were *really* playing up, so I deleted them and started again. I also moved them *really* close to the object, and (with a VERY high intensity value) AND basing my materials on the one you provided, YES, I DO now see photometric lights :)
Yay !!!!
However……
Again…. only in Sneak Peek. NOT when I run the app….
So….. could this be a Puzzle issue maybe?
Once again, many many thanks for your help.
We’re getting there :)

2021-09-29 at 12:13 pm #45454jezukCustomerNo, i don’t even have the console open, (but I checked its value anyway).
Also, I try in different browsers, different machines, including iPad, surface pro and smartphone.
All show result without photometric lights in App manager, sneak peek shows photometric light reflections and illumination contribution from photometric lights.

2021-09-29 at 3:12 pm #45470jezukCustomerHi Mikhail,
I’ve attached the .bin and the .gltf file.
Is that enough or do you need other files too? (if so, please let me know what else you need).
Many thanks.

2021-09-29 at 3:28 pm #45481Mikhail LuzyaninStaffseems like they not attached, better to attach whole app folder packed in zip or 7z.

Many thanks.

2021-10-01 at 6:31 am #45655Mikhail LuzyaninStaffOk, I’ve have the same behavior as you, but when I’ve created a new app and moved images and max files there the app started to work fine. Try to do this.
