Are there any plans to support the object output node (and object selection) for the Texture Coordinate node? This would be a useful addition for controlling textures. I know it’s currently possible to animate a value and move a texture, but there is currently no way to fix a texture position while moving the object as seen here:

We have added a task to our dev tracker to make the Object field of Texture Image node work. Do you also need the Window output of the Geometry node as you mentioned here? The OBJECT and WINDOW components would be SO, SO very useful.
Branden and I are talking about the same exact desired effect.
Thanks for all your work.

Cheers,

Uploading a file here that exhibits the problem. Try to export the glTF and you’ll get a list of errors. Remove the item from the object selection on the texture coordinate node and it will export fine.

Nice work on that fast fix. However, I am not seeing the results I’d expect once the model is in Verge. If I use an empty as the texture object and then animate that empty, the texture should animate with the object. Like so:
Currently the texture does not animate in Verge at all.
Then I tried animating the object (sphere) instead of the empty. The result should be that the sphere moves through the texture. I get this result inside of Verge:
It’s as if there is some delayed movement on the gradient when it shouldn’t move at all in this case.
