Ok, even though I really don’t know how to use nodes in blender (yet), I love the concept of boxes with the little connectors ‘cords’ – along with the ease you can scroll/zoom out and in and move the boxes around like playing cards on a cable.

There are many practical business applications for this like process mapping, value streams, charting hierarchies, project management etc. As so there are already many software applications out there built for this but I haven’t seen anything yet that can have a web browser interface (no applications to install) which retains the fluid like navigation/interaction that you expect running the app on a desktop. (much less have 3d capabilities!)

I imagine this is because HTML wasn’t designed with zooming around in 3d space in mind. WebGL was though.

Here is a quick experiment I did using Verge3d that I am going to share. Everything was simple to build except for the coding part where I wanted to make sure you can’t plug a noodle into a node if one is already connected without unplugging the prior connection first. I am not a coder so I was only marginally successful with that part.

You will see what i mean if you play around with this for a bit.

Haha, that’s so cool! But sockets are dissapear when you disconnect it from another node.
