I made a new scene, with Verge3D “app manager”

I “append” the brushed steel material from the essential blend mat library.
I applied it to the sink object that I have, following the “essential mat lib” tutorial:
    https://www.soft8soft.com/docs/manual/en/blender/Material-Library.html

Then, following that above tutorial, it is said the now I need to setup a the environment, so I try to follow this tutorial:

But there is already in my fresh scene something there!
    See here:
    https://catchline.fi/toveri/environment.png

What is this, where it came from?
Is it some more advanced environment light than the one that is built on above video tutorial?

The most strange thing is that this hrd environment is only visible at “viewport shading / material preview mode”.
But not in the “viewport shading / rendered” mode. See here:
    https://catchline.fi/toveri/environment-material_preview_mode.png

So, with this setup my sink looks dark and dull:

Just like the “essential mat lib” tutorial told me:
“materials will look dark and non-reflective”

But looks like I have already a environment hdr there!
Why it is not affecting my sink?

Ok, it must be something with the model I have there.

I got this other cgtrader sink, and it looks kinda OK:

So it my kitchen sink model dark and dull cos there is no UV mapping on it?

This environment included in default blend file when you create a new app. Yes it’s set up such way that only efffect lighting and reflection of the scene but not seen around the model. You can connect this hdr image directly to Background node and you will see it around the model.
