Trying to create a simple object that follows my camera. In this case, a simple poly-plane that is constrained to the basic camera. Using parent constraint in Maya, I have assigned the plane to the camera. As expected the plane follows the camera and keeps my plane in the position desired at all times.

Export to GlTF and open in App Manager to begin programming puzzles. The plane and the camera appear as expected…. Move the camera….nope…they are no longer connected. The constraint is being either ignored, not carried over or something.

Does anyone have a work around. I used “Parent” constraint. Does anyone know if any of the other constraints are working?

    Thanks

No constraint supported for now. Instead of Parent constrain you can use simple parenting like this:

Thank you. Yes a simple object parent grouping will work. When do you think we will be getting at least the AIM constraint. Its important for annotations and icons that need to face the camera at all times.

    Thank you.

It’s in our TODO list now. Thanks.

Hi, we supported Maya constraints in Verge3D 3.5. See here.
