I have 74 textures, approximately 10 kb each one. Should this be a problem?
depends on their resolution – if they are 512×512 px or bigger it is an overkill

and what is the limit of textures / space, approximately?
I have removed all the textures and I have put a basic physical material and it still does not work on some iOS devices, why can it be?

difficult to say, this depends on scene structure as well as on the device.

may be you have too many lights that cast shadows. Try to disable shadows
