    I want to limit vertical movement but the value has no effect, what other camera settings are there to enable limits?

    You have to set Vertical Rotation Limits.

    I did but the settings has no effect, then I notice shadow are gone too.
    Spent a whole day trying salvage my file six months ago, the updates have changed so much that I had to build the scene from scratch still, no shadow.

    Has anyone had experience with work done six months ago and managed to salvage in the latest verge 3D build?

    You’re right about the limitations of the camera, it doesn’t work as it should.

    In addition, I advise you to upgrade to 2.8 and to use EEVEE.

    My issues is with the older project files, both lighting and material have to change because I used to create it from the material panel and the difference between Internal and cycles complicate the setup.

    The camera nuisance is the min & max distance on top of clipping, apart from that is the file must be cleanly build otherwise the older files will cause abnormal behavior only noticeable when run at the server, the “.blend Cube file”.

    I worry that Blender 2.8 has new issues, better wait until it is proven stable just like I waited a year for Verge3D to stabilize before using it in serious production.

    I work in 2.8 because of EEVEE.

    I worry that Blender 2.8 has new issues, better wait until it is proven stable just like I waited a year for Verge3D to stabilize before using it in serious production.

    Time to migrate the 2.8 release is already near and it’s already more stable than 3ds Max stable release. We here in Verge3D team mostly works in 2.8, there’s no critical bug anymore, you can just meet some crashes, but even they are very rare.
