    Photoshop allows to use three channels RGB, but I want to use the 4th channel too to create 4in1 image textures (AO, for example)

    I am not sure about PS but you can do it with gimp.
    Colors>Components (separate, edit, and the backwards)
    See image attached.
    I guess you find something similar in PS.

    You can do this in Blender composer, gimp or photoshop just type in YouTube search “how to add alpha channel in photoshop” and i’m sure you can find something useful. How to do it using gimp you can find on our YouTube chanel in swiss army knife tutorial series.
