    I’m still working on a tiny benchmark for an app, in order to set automatically the best quality the device can handle.

    The app is quite heavy, with animated model, live video and a second video in a html container. On some devices there are quite performance drops. But now comes the strange thing. When I activate the fps counter (pressing FFF), the application is running much faster. I would estimate around +10fps.

    Does anyone know why this is happening?

    Sadly not, most of the apps I’m developing are confidential to the point when they are getting released.

    Do you maybe have a clue, what could be happening? Or what is different in the rendering when there is an active fps window?

    Can you reproduce this behavior with any of the stock Verge3D demos?
