did you release the materials pack? I haven’t found it anywhere but maybe I missed it or misunderstand. I very much need to improve my materials urgently. Thank you.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC

I went ahead and purchased the pack, but I guess I’m a bit confused still, which is not anything new.
Are these materials not ‘useable’ with Cycles? I’ve done my whole scene in cycles render with other objects using PBR, which sort-of works. But when I import/append or cut-buffer paste any of these materials into my scene, all I get is solid color, no textures etc.Am I dramatically missing something simple here? All thanks.

Material pack made for old system (blender internat) and not compatible with Cycles, we plan to update and extend it till the end of this year.

2018-09-26 at 6:04 pm #7693tcdoeCustomerHuh, ok.
I need a reasonably good brushed metal, fine concrete, and smooth metal or semi-gloss plastic material, and especially a transparent and/or translucent material just to start. I’m guessing there is some PBR material I can use but I can’t seem to get it working. I don’t have substance painter, working on getting that.
Any help or pointers appreciated. Thanks.CEO, ABĒMIS LLC

Some of these materials not difficult to implement, except brushed metal and translucency only transparent node supported now. I think i can make them for you in a few day as a appologies that you bought unfit material pack. Because a world full of different materials can you provide examples of what exactly you want from that materials looks like. Can you attach some references?

2018-09-27 at 8:23 pm #7713tcdoeCustomerHi, thanks again for the response and info.
I’ve been working like crazy on this both to get myself up to speed-ish on PBR and to understand at least some of the Verge3D approach.
I’ve been able to get some pretty good PBR results today. I’ve cleaned up my current Blender scene and made several notes and such. I think instead of putting on this thread, I’m going to make a new post in the forum with this info and share my notes, new questions, and the .blend file. I’ll add some of my trials-and-errors as a novice, which will hopefully be helpful to others as well.
Thanks again! T.
p.s. I looked carefully at the industrial robot demo, pretty interesting/amazing! There is a lot I don’t understand there and couldn’t use any of the materials… It’s a very complex UV and not ‘individual’ materials for separate objects, which is an approach I’m not very familiar with (yet) as a novice. I don’t have Substance Painter which I’m guessing was used for that demo.
